We are honored to work with national collaborations that help lift up our work alongside energy and economic justice leaders from across the continent. Here are a few of the groups we work with:

Building Equity and Alignment for Impact (BEA4Impact) Initiative

  • The BEA4Impact initiative includes grassroots, national environmental, and philanthropic organizations coming together to build collaborative action for a just, equitable, and compassionate world. Read the full Vision Statement.

Advancing Equity and Opportunity

  • This is a new Southern formation that is just beginning to get off the ground. The idea is to bring together groups that work for environmental and economic justice across the South. The South is often underrepresented in national climate and environmental justice conversations, yet the region carries much of our country’s energy burden. So far, the effort has spun off a few working groups on specific topic areas and had one larger planning meeting.

Climate Justice Alliance

  • The Climate Justice Alliance (CJA) is a collaborative of over 35 community-based and movement support organizations uniting frontline communities to forge a scalable, and socio-economically just transition away from unsustainable energy towards local living economies to address the root causes of climate change.

Extreme Extraction Summits

  • The Extreme Energy Extraction Collaborative (E3C) is a grassroots, frontline community-led initiative to create a space in which those fighting extreme energy extraction can develop relationships and a shared framework across issues, making our local work stronger and our collective voice larger.  They seek to engage a diverse spectrum of groups working to stop any form of energy economy that comes at the expense of a community’s health, life or culture.
